Brad Pitt's project on hurricane Katrina
In 2005 a massive hurricane hit New Orlean, Lousiana. The hurricane destoryed almost all the homes in New Orleans. All houses were under water and some had trucks an cars underneath the houses or homes of people. People lost all of there possesions in Katrina. So Brad Pitt took some time to donate some money and build some of the houses.
Brad donated money to help out bulid the houses for the people who lost there homes in Katrina. Brad donated five million dollars to help build and get supplys to for the houses. Brad took some time to help the people of katrina.
The houses Brad are building, they are goin to be enviroment frinedly. The homes are going to be built on stilts so if in the future there is a flood it will not flood the houses. Brad wants to be environment friendly and save the environment. Brad wants the people without a home he wants to give them a home that is liveable.
Brad gave them homes to live in and he gave money. But most inportantly he gave his time to build houses for the people who lost there possessions in the hurricane. Brad built homes to save the environment and give people to live. He is so generous and helpful he was willing to donated five million dollars.
Although Brad Pitt is a movie star he wants to help people without homes. He can make a difference and he can be so helpful. So i really like people who help people who have nothing but there clothes on their backs.
